SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) DSP Fahad Ajmal visited the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) Sargodha office on Tuesday to conduct a special awareness session regarding road safety and responsible driving.
The visit was organized following the special directives of Sector Commander M-2 South SSP Zafar Iqbal Malik, where the DSP was accompanied by Inspector Zulfiqar Ali, Inspector Imran Tabassum, and Sub-Inspector Faryal Ali.
During the meeting, attended by APP staff members including Athar Nadeem, Rana Muhammad Waqas, Rai Hassan Mahmood Dhudi, Muhammad Ramzan, Azhar Hussain, Sajid Gujjar, and Ihsan Gujjar, discussions focused on community safety and the promotion of traffic discipline.
Speaking on the occasion, the DSP Fahad Ajmal stated that the NHMP is utilizing modern techniques to ensure safe travel on highways across the country.
He emphasized that the Primary mission of the Motorway Police is to protect the lives and property of citizens, enforce traffic laws, and provide superior travel facilities.

He highlighted that NHMP officers perform their duties diligently under all weather conditions to assist and guide commuters. Stressing the importance of public awareness, he said that such campaigns are crucial for reducing the ratio of road accidents.
The DSP NHMP Fahad Ajmal also lauded the role of the journalist community in sensitizing the public about road safety, affirming that the Motorway Police would continue its collaborative efforts with the media for the benefit of the general public.
The participants concluded the session by paying tribute to the services of the NHMP and pledged to enhance efforts for spreading awareness about traffic rules and safe traveling practices in the Sargodha region.
