Rescue-1122 sets up heatwave relief camps across Sialkot

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) Rescue 1122 Sialkot has set up heatwave relief camps at all rescue stations

and tehsil headquarters across the district to provide relief to citizens amid the

prevailing intense heat.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, cold drinking water and first-aid services

are being provided at the camps, while rescue personnel remain on duty to

assist heat-affected individuals and commuters.

District Emergency Officer Engineer Naveed Iqbal urged citizens to avoid

unnecessary exposure to sunlight, stay hydrated and contact Rescue 1122

immediately in case of heatstroke symptoms.
