FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) Demonstrating its commitment to standing by the families of martyr heroes, Faisalabad police fulfilled wish of the sons of martyred Constable Haseeb by providing them a new motorcycle.

Police spokesman said here on Monday that this gift was as a gesture for easing their daily commute and reaffirming the force’s resolve that the families of police martyrs will never be left alone.

He said that the welfare initiative was carried out on the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain during a meeting held at Police Lines Complex, where SSP Operations Imran Ahmad Malik met the family members of martyred constable. Welfare officers were also present on the occasion.

He said that the motorcycle was handed over to martyr’s sons, Ahmed and Asad, in response to difficulties they had been facing in travelling to and from school. The provision of the vehicle was intended to facilitate their educational pursuits and provide practical support to the bereaved family, he added.

He said that the children expressed their happiness and gratitude upon receiving the motorcycle, describing the gesture as a source of encouragement and support.

Family members also appreciated the continued care and attention being extended by Faisalabad Police, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Operations Imran Ahmad Malik paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of police martyrs and said that those who laid down their lives for the protection of homeland and its citizens were the true heroes of the nation. He said that unprecedented sacrifices rendered by police martyrs constituted a valuable asset of the police force and served as a guiding light for future generations. Their courage, dedication and devotion to duty would continue to inspire serving officers and strengthen the institution’s commitment to public service, he added.

Imran Ahmad Malik further assured that every possible effort would be made to look after the education, upbringing and essential needs of the children of police martyrs.

Faisalabad police were committed to safeguard future of these families and provide them opportunities to lead dignified and successful lives, he added.
