Over 7,000 citizens avail services at police Khidmat Markaz Chiniot in May

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) In line with the vision of Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, practical steps are underway for better public service delivery as Police Khidmat Markaz Chiniot continues to provide modern facilities to citizens.

The performance report of the Police Khidmat Markaz for May shows that more than 7,000 citizens benefited from various services last month.

The center issued 2,016 learner permits, 774 learner permit renewals, 2,359 new regular licenses, and 21 new international driving licenses.During the same period, the police registered 1,103 verifications, 420 character certificates, 149 tenancy registrations, and 50 missing reports.

Additional services including vehicle and mobile verification, employee verification, and tenancy registration were also provided.

District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif said all possible steps are being taken to improve public service delivery and promote people-friendly policing.

He added that the Police Khidmat Markaz provides 15 different facilities under one roof, offering timely guidance and services to meet the latest public requirements.
