TXT is also active in Japan, holding special concerts to mark their seventh anniversary
Yeonjun from TXT is getting ready to release a new solo album, less than a year after starting his solo career.
He is planning to drop the album in July, showing that he is continuing to build his identity as an individual artist apart from his group activities.
He first introduced himself as a solo performer in September 2024 with a mix tape, which helped fans see his style outside TXT.
Later in November, he released his first solo EP, which received positive feedback from both fans and music critics. The album also performed very well commercially, selling over 600,000 copies in its first week and reaching the top position on Japan’s Oricon chart.
His previous solo work also gained global attention because of his strong stage presence, unique style, and performance skills. Many fans appreciated how he showed a different artistic side compared to his group image.
Yeonjun originally debuted in 2019 as part of TXT under HYBE and has become one of the group’s standout members, known for dancing, rapping, and his influence in fashion. As more K-pop idols explore solo projects, interest is growing in what direction he will take next with this upcoming release.
Meanwhile, TXT is also active in Japan, holding special concerts to mark their seventh anniversary. They have already performed in Aichi and Chiba, and more shows are scheduled in Fukuoka and Hyogo later this month.
