ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Monday held meeting with Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar to discuss matters of mutual interest, the overall political and administrative situation in the country, and key government affairs.

During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on strengthening institutional cooperation, improving communication channels, and enhancing coordination among government departments to ensure effective governance and efficient public service delivery.

They underscored the importance of promoting stronger linkages between the federation and provinces and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening collaboration among state institutions in the larger national interest.

The Governor and the federal minister also agreed to continue joint efforts aimed at public welfare, good governance, and national development, while reviewing opportunities for greater cooperation across various sectors.

Later, Governor Kundi visited the Digital Communication Department of the Ministry of Information, where he was briefed on its role in disseminating government information and strengthening public outreach through digital platforms.
