PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) The Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF), Northern Region-II, Asghar Khan, awarded letters of appreciation to Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Kaghan, Ibrar Ahmed Khan, Sub-Divisional Forest Officer (SDFO) Balakot, Usman Ali, and the dedicated field staff in recognition of their exemplary performance and unwavering commitment in successfully controlling the recent forest fire at Sangar.

DFO Siran, Aman Ullah Khan, was also present on the occasion.

During the ceremony, the CCF conveyed special appreciation and commendations on behalf of the Advisor to the Chief Minister on Climate Change, Forestry, Environment & Wildlife, Pir Musavir Khan Ghazi, and the Secretary of the Climate Change, Forestry, Environment & Wildlife Department (CCFE&W), Junaid Khan, acknowledging the remarkable efforts of the officers and frontline personnel.
