Educational differences resolved in Kohat through successful mediation by Commissioner

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) The longstanding differences between educational institutions in Kohat were amicably resolved following a high-level reconciliation meeting chaired by Commissioner Kohat Division, Syed Muatassim Billah Shah.

The important session, held at the Commissioner’s Office, brought together faculty members of Government Postgraduate College Kohat and the Chairman of the Kohat Educational board to address misunderstandings that had caused tension in recent weeks.

Both sides openly presented their viewpoints, leading to a constructive dialogue and eventual resolution of the dispute.

Participants unanimously agreed that the academic interests of students must remain the foremost priority and pledged to avoid such conflicts in the future.

Commissioner welcomed the reconciliation, terming it a positive step towards institutional stability. He emphasized that the educated class serves as a role model for society, urging teachers and administrators to promote tolerance, patience, and mutual respect.
