DPO reviews police station arrangements

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Akhtar Farooq inspected Police Station Kunjah and reviewed administrative and operational matters.

According to police sources, during the visit, he checked the front desk, lock-up, malkhana, record room and other sections, and reviewed official records.

He also inquired about the progress of ongoing investigations.

The DPO directed officials to ensure that investigations are conducted on merit, with transparency and in accordance with the law. He stressed the need for timely justice for citizens.

He also reviewed cleanliness, discipline and security arrangements at the police station and instructed staff to treat visitors with courtesy and resolve their issues promptly.
