DHA police recover missing girls in swift operation

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Police successfully recovered two girls who had mysteriously gone missing from the DHA Multan area and reunited them with their family after a swift operation utilizing modern technology and intelligence gathering.

Police spokesman said the girls had disappeared from Askari Colony, and a case was registered under section 365-B PPC.

SHO DHA Hafiz Shahbaz led a police team accompanying a sub-inspector, and launched an immediate search operation. Using CCTV footage, human intelligence, and other investigative techniques, the team traced and recovered the girls within a few hours.

Police said the recovered girls were safely reunited with their family after completion of the necessary legal formalities.

CPO Multan Sadiq Ali Dogar appreciated the performance of the police team and commended the officers for their prompt and professional response.

Residents of the area expressed satisfaction over the timely recovery, praising the police for their effective action, ensuring safe return of the missing girls.
