SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Tuesday distributed free uniforms and school bags among 600 deserving students of various government schools at a ceremony held at the Government Comprehensive Girls High School.
Addressing the participants, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the role of well-to-do members of society was crucial in promoting education and assisting underprivileged students.
He stated that such welfare initiatives not only boosted the morale of children but also proved helpful in providing them with better educational opportunities.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Education Authority Sardar Akhtar Baloch, officials from the education department, teachers, and a large number of students.

He further added that the Punjab government was taking comprehensive measures to promote quality education and increase the enrollment and attendance rates in schools, while the support of philanthropists was making these efforts more effective.
He urged the students to focus on their education and adopt hard work, dedication, and discipline as their motto to play a positive role in the development of the country.
