Blind murder traced, four arrested

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) Sahianwala police claimed to have traced out a blind murder case and arrested four

accused, including the victim’s son-in-law, on charge of abducting and killing a

man.

According to police spokesman Tariq Jutt, 60-year-old Rashid had gone missing

some time ago and the police after lodging a complaint started investigations.

He said that the victim’s daughter, Malaika, had contracted a love marriage with Rizwan.

The police investigations revealed that Rizwan in connivance with his accomplices Waqas, Umar Hayat

and Hamza allegedly abducted Rashid and subjected him to severe torture before killing him.

After committing the crime, the accused buried the body in the courtyard of a house and staged

an abduction drama.

The police recovered victim’s remains from the buried site and arrested four accused including

the son-in-law.
