FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) board of Intermediate & Secondary education (BISE) has intensified its campaign against cheating and examination malpractice by suspending seven supervisory staff members including superintendents and deputy superintendents, after surprise inspections uncovered negligence and alleged facilitation of unfair means at examination centers.
BISE spokesman said here on Tuesday that Secretary BISE Professor Dr. Saleem Taqi Shah conducted raids at various examination centers to eliminate the cheating mafia and ensure a transparent examination system.
During inspection, the Board immediately suspended superintendent, deputy superintendent and four invigilation staff members posted at Center No.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>262 for alleged negligence, dereliction of duty and facilitating candidates in cheating. The deputy superintendent of Center No.269 at Abbas Pur was also suspended on similar charges.
BISE Secretary further recommended strict departmental action against the suspended supervisory staff under the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability (PEEDA) Act, forwarding the cases to the higher authorities for necessary proceedings, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr. Saleem Taqi Shah said that the Board’s comprehensive strategy against cheating had yielded significant results, adding that complaints from examination centers had almost disappeared due to strict enforcement measures.
