BATTAGRAM, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) The district of Battagram is set to host the 8th Edition of the Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit on June 15, 2026, at the Hazara University Battagram Campus. Organizers describe it as one of the largest youth-focused gatherings in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The summit is being jointly organized by the District Youth Office Battagram and Metrix Pakistan, in collaboration with C Suite Nexus Global, Thrive Pakistan, RankingGrow, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Battagram, and other partner organizations.
The event is being held under the patronage of Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand, Minister for sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with support from the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to organizers, the summit aims to promote youth engagement, leadership development, entrepreneurship, capacity building, and professional networking. Participants from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to attend the event, which will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, interactive workshops, training sessions, and networking opportunities.
The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to create meaningful platforms for young people, particularly in districts where access to professional development opportunities remains limited. Organizers believe the summit will help connect youth with industry experts, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and professionals, enabling them to gain practical insights and exposure to emerging opportunities.
A key feature of the event will be the “Pride of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Awards,” during which six individuals from Battagram will be recognized for their outstanding contributions in education, entrepreneurship, technology, social development, leadership, and public service.

Speaking about the initiative, District Youth Officer Battagram Alamzeb Khan said the district’s youth possess significant talent and potential and require access to platforms that can facilitate learning, innovation, and leadership development.
He added that the summit would provide participants with opportunities to engage with accomplished professionals, exchange ideas, and explore avenues for personal and professional growth.
Hassan Nisar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Metrix Pakistan, said the organization remains committed to empowering youth through knowledge-sharing, entrepreneurship, technology, and leadership initiatives.
He further stated that expanding access to opportunities for young people, particularly those from remote and underserved areas, is essential for inclusive development and long-term socio-economic progress.
Organizers said previous editions of the summit were successfully held in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and attracted thousands of participants. They expressed confidence that the Battagram edition would further strengthen efforts to promote youth engagement and skill development across the province.
The event is expected to draw participants from academic institutions, the private sector, civil society organizations, and government departments, making it one of the most significant youth-focused events of the year in the province.
