ADCG reviews drug law violation cases

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Naeem Bashir chaired a meeting of the

District Quality Control Board and reviewed 28 cases related to drug law violations

and illegal medical practices.

During the meeting, the board decided to refer seven medical store cases to the

Drug Court for selling medicines without licences, dealing in prohibited drugs and

engaging in unlawful medical practices, according to official sources.

The board also issued warnings to 10 medical stores, ordered re-inspections

of six cases and deferred five cases for further review.

ADCG Naeem Bashir directed the authorities to strengthen monitoring and ensure

strict enforcement of drug laws to protect public health.
