LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) The District Administration Lahore has accelerated efforts to provide prompt relief

to citizens in land and property-related matters through daily Revenue Open Courts

(Khuli Kutcheries), established on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Lahore

Muhammad Ali Ijaz.

Revenue Open Court was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office under the

chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Hafiz Karim

Dad Chughtai.

During the proceedings, 40 cases pertaining to land partition, property transfers

(Intiqalat), correction of revenue records and implementation of court decisions

The initiative aims to eliminate delays

in the resolution of land disputes and provide citizens with a transparent and

efficient platform for obtaining relief on merit. The one-window mechanism is

also intended to protect citizens from unnecessary difficulties and ensure timely

disposal of revenue-related matters.

On the occasion, ADCR Hafiz Karim Dad Chughtai said that the daily Revenue

Open Courts had already provided relief to hundreds of citizens and would continue

regularly to ensure uninterrupted access to justice.

He directed revenue officials to give priority to the correction of records and

ensure that people were not compelled to make repeated visits to government

offices for the resolution of legitimate issues.
